Dear friends,
Thank you for your prayers. We are all well.

Day-care centre
We have now been approved to take on 20 children in our Day-care-centre. Now we are choosing the children who are the neediest ones. The children in the day-care-centre need our whole attention and care. The men in our staff are working on the cement area in the day-care centre, in order to enlarge it, because it´s size has been complained about by the social security office.
Also the outhouse of our soup kitchen is not yet completed [Note: the gas stove, on which the food for hundreds of children is regularly cooked, may not be established indoors, therefore an outhouse needed to be built] – as we had went beyond the permitted height. God – as always – has had his eye on it and gave the right clue through a site manager. Aaron Wynne, Kylie´s husband is now changing the building plans.

Staff
Niel has left us for career reasons. But we have now got a new team member: Vernon Grantham, who is a valuable addition with many good ideas.

Volunteer workers
In spring we had two young ladies from Germany working with us and they were a great help for us. Janica has developed a flyer in English which enables us to build up a bigger support group in South Africa as well. Enjoy the spring (that is summer by now…)

Love,
Martina
