Martina
A passionate educator and children´s missionary hears 2002 the message: “Go to the deserted children!” After training in India and New York God leads her to South Africa. She met them in the slums of Pietermaritzburg, these little precious personalities, who not only were hungry for food, but also for attention, love and help.
She wants
…to win children in South Africa for Jesus Christ
…to create the happiest hours in their week for them
by children´s services
…to visit the children regularly
…to take care of their essential needs
Vernon Paul Grantham
My name is Vernon Paul Grantham, I was married in 1987, I have three children, VIRINIA is 24, Verlin is 22, Tre is 14 years of age and I have just this year adopted a son and he is 12 year old. His name is Ramario Prince.
My wife's name is Lee-andar. She is working for a bible school and is in the finance department.
We both got saved in February of 1996.
At that time I was working in the night clubs as bounce and had to leave because of getting saved.
Not long after I went into full time ministry at our local church and I was part of the team that used to travel preaching the gospel.
I left after a few years and went to work for a private company, but after two years came back to work in the local church as an handy man or with maintenance firm. There I come over to Bambelela ku Jesu.
My two years with Bambelela ku Jesu ministry has been exciting with many new adventure, my eyes has been open to a lot of things that take place in the squattercamps, which I never saw before.
I would never go in and interact with people before, but just preaching to them. But now I am interacting with people and I feel more for them
There are so many heart breaking stories to tell:
But this year was a shock for me, when I met a child who is now part of our creche and her CD4 count is only 15. This is very bad. She is as good as dead but by the grace of God she is still alive. There seems to be no hope for her. Her mother and father are positive their CD4 count is 52 and 18. Please pray for these kids and their families.
God bless you

Octavia,
head of the
Senzo-Daycare-Center
My name is Octavia. I am 29 years old. I am Single and stay with my parents, my son and my sisters children. I have been working with children in a pre-school as a teacher and worked with them for 10 years.
I am now working for Bambelela ku Jesu ministry. Since I have been working for this ministry I have experienced a lot of things: people that are suffering in their families, children with no parents, food and clothes.
Working for this ministry is a blessing to our community, children have learnt to love one another and to respect each other, they have learnt more about Jesus , how to pray and they know who they must ask when they need help. I have also learnt more, I have got new ideas and how to mix with other people and how to help them.
I would like to thank God for his presence in this ministry. Thank you for all the support, thank you for your love that you are giving the children. May God bless you all.
Flomina, our cook
My name is Flomina Mhlongo. I am 50 years old. I have 4 children and 1 grandchild. I work for Bambelela as a cook. I cook for the poor.
Since I have started to work for Bambelela I have learned to interact with different races. I’ve also learnt to live with people that are not my family but we treat each other like family. I am happy with them as if I were with my own.
I have learned so much with Bambelela ministries, like working together, love and unity. We also share different views. But most of all is to know God as the pillar in our daily lives. We put God first. It is a blessing to work for Bambelela.
I am happy when the kids are happy and well fed and the fact that I am the part of that. Thank you.
Nomthandazo Joyce Mtshali Mazibuko
My name is Nomthandazo JOYCE Mtshali Mazibuko. I was born on 21 October 1968. I live 4 rooms at Imbali, I live with my husband and my 3 children, Sthombe is 23 years old, Sthembile she is 12 year and Andiswa she is 4 years.
I started working here this year full time, I was working at Martina’s house. I loved working here at Bambelelala ku Jesu ministry because I love children a lot and they love me too.
Another thing is that I help one of my neighbours who had a problem of her child that committed a suicide last year and she was considering of killing herself too. Then I sat down with her, talked to her about Jesus. I opened a bible for her and I told her that Jesus is here with her no matter how difficult the things are. He always gives solution and God doesn’t like people who kill or run away from their problems. Then she understood and thank me, she even blessed me.
God bless you
